Inscription: "Group of Pandarums with brown beads. Two pagoda Brahmins." (Mary Symonds called a gopuram, a "Pagoda".) Mary Symonds painted a series of "street scenes", to be placed in a "paper theatre". | Inscription : « Groupe de pandarums aux perles brunes. Deux pagodes brahmanes. » (Mary Symonds a désigné un gopura par « pagode ».) Elle a peint une série de « scènes de rue » destinées à un « théâtre de papier ».
